Buzzing sound when steering wheel is turned right

I have a S4 FC RX7 and recently it has been making a buzzing sound when the steering wheel is turned right. It is the same buzzing sound that comes on at redline. It starts out as constant buzz that is only alleviated when the steering wheel is turned to the left. The buzzing sound starts going away as the car warms up and 10minutes after running the sound only comes on when turning sharp right. The buzzing sound will also start to change frequency slightly, it sounds as if it is dying out. Oil was changed 2500 miles ago and coolant level is fine. I tried checking to see if there were any loose wires under the steering wheel but it was difficult to get a good view. Anyone have any ideas?

Could be low coolant too.

What kind of buzzing sound is it electronic or is it mechanical like you power steering pump ?? Power steering pump can make a weird buzzing sound when you turn your steering wheel all the way .

Check your oil.
It is down a quart.

It was the oil. Thanks, I knew the car eats oil but I didn't realize how fast it occurs. Should I expect to need to top off the oil in between oil changes on a regular basis?

If your car has oil seals which have seen better days then I suppose so, but you should always keep an eye on things, especially if you have good reason.

Yeah I'll definitely be checking the oil often, thanks.

..the car comes equipped with a "vertical lubricating liquid measuring device"..WAZDAT.
This Device allows you to note any fluctuations of oil in the engine.
....Heheh.If you look up WAZDAT..it is defined as a dipstick!

wazdat?..dunno...you know?.nope..looks purdy though..yuk,yuk!

(Just screwin with ya man..I gotta have fun sometimes..lol!)
