Bridgeport S4 13BT rx8 e shaft and rotors?

I have a S4 13BT that is Bridgeported but someone I was working on it with had taken the e shaft and rotors. So I've been looking to find replacement rotors and an e shaft. The rx8 e shaft is much cheaper than the one meant for the S4. is the rx8 e shaft useable with S4 rotors? Or would I need to get the rx8 rotors? Also what reputable store should I order a rebuild kit from?

also the goal is to produce around the 400 mark and would like something that has the potential to last.

Thanks in advance,
Ben

Yes it is. Do not use RX8 rotors.

Welcome to the board. ;)

You can use the MSP shaft with no problem. You should not use the rotors. Find S4 (8.5 or 9.4) or S5 (9.0) rotors to use with your project.

For the rebuild kit, your budget might end up dictating that. The ideal situation would be an OEM kit, but they are expensive - and depending on what you're attempting, not necessary (arguably). I have had good results using the Atkins kit with OEM apex seals and springs. Aside from that you can pick and choose the things you need and possibly get them from other vendors - corner seals, water seals, apex seals, etc.
