Boost gauge

Hey guys, I got a defi boost gauge (no mechanical) and says that I have to make a 3 way joint between fuel regulator and surge tank! My q is where is the fuel regulator is? (If there is one)! Engine FD3S 93 efini

Fuel pressure regulator is under the UIM (upper intake manifold) near where your injectors are located.
But you don't need to use it! Just use a vacuum/pressure nipple on the UIM. Just search the forum.

It is a very generalized description that suits some cars but unnecessary for FDs.

IIRC, DEFI instructions have different sections depending on the type of gauge you bought from them. I think you're looking at the wrong section.
As mentioned above, it only requires a source of vacuum/pressure from the upper intake manifold just above where it mates to the lower intake manifold. There are two nipples on the passenger side of the manifold. One nipple is running a vacuum line to the boost sensor mounted on the driver's side firewall. While a 'T' fitting will work in that line, I would suggest NOT to use it as you're just adding a point of possible leak and the boost sensor needs a good reading for the car to run properly.

Thanks a lot guys

Talking about this, I got a single bov and using a T I put the 2 vacumm hoses that were in the jdm bovs, in the single bov! Do you think that it could be a posible losing of preassure (that I actually have)?

Does your car have the stock twin turbos?

ericondazo 06-24-16 06:38 PM

Knight sports! I gess they were stock for that time

T into the single vacuum line going to your BOV preferably near where it comes off the intake manifold. You have only one BOV.
