boost/afr gauge install

i just bought a use set of autometer gauges. the boost is the cobalt (6103) and the afr is the ultra lite. they didn't come with everything needed (like instructions) so i'm kinda confused.
i know i'm going to need an o2 sensor, so that should be too tricky.. but what i'm confused about is the boost gauge. where do i run a vacuum line to? what kind of tubing do i need? etc etc etc. any info will be really appreciated

my cars a 91 tII if that helps

thanks

I imagine the 6104 or 6105 are almost identical in installation, so this link should help...

Cobalt Boost gauge 6104

i looked at that earlier and it didn't help. but now that i actually studied it, it makes perfect sense.
thanks!

A narrowband AFR gauge (the $50 kind) will just tap into the single wire on the stock O2 sensor.

A wideband gauge (~$250) will need a wideband O2 sensor.

So buy one. They're about $20, and will save you far more than that in gas money. There's no reason not to have one.

... this might be kinda useless, but a good place to mount one is right where the cigarette lighter is..

i plan on getting one today on my way home from work. the only reason i don't have one now is because the previous owner didn't have one installed and i just haven't gotten to it yet.
