Best ECU for my 90 Vert Turbo? Whats my problem? Help?!

Title says it all... I know there's probably plenty of posts in the forms dealing with this topic but newbie here so yeeaahh. Anyway, I have a 6 port turbo Vert FC that has been giving me problems lately. The engine is flooding badly and we believe it may be the turbo seal (crappy ebay turbo that came with the car) that just took a dump and is letting oil into the engine. The problem is so bad I rarely can get the car to start..
I'm running a stock N/A ECU (I got the car like this) and before I left for basic training, the car began to bog on me while I was driving. I wasn't pushing it or anything, just cruising down the road, it would sound like it was detonating under the driver seat and it would eventually cause the car to shut off. I have a buddy of mine, who drives a S5 T2, who said he was experiencing the same problem and once he installed his standalone ECU (can't remember the brand) the problem was instantly solved..

Anyone have any idea's as to what the problem may be? As well as ECU suggestions to run on my car?

Try a Stock TURBO ecu to begin with.
Your N/A ecu is dumping fuel into the engine.

So try out a S5 TII ecu? I'll search for one. Thank you for the reply.
