Battery Relocation to the TRUNK!!!
Specifically to the trunk since people cant read for some reason, its JDM therefore I have no containers I have SEATS. Does anyone have a current write up or how to or kit to accomplish this and please dont give me the outdated one from 2015 that you cant even buy those parts anymore. I'm bad at electrical and I really need help.

Start with smaller tasks for electrical first. Make sure you understand how you need to make connections and how to add new runs. The battery in the trunk will be nearly identical to the battery in the bins, just a longer run of wire. Just get yourself a battery box (Summit Racing has some generic ones) and secure it under the rear strut tower bar or something. You might decide to drill for a bolt mount, or some people I've seen ratchet strap them down somehow. But, if you're a beginner with electrical, you're going to have a bad time. So often people have issues with grounding after a relocation that the car fails to start. The starter will not get enough amperage. Or, a person doesnt fuse it correctly (a fuse/breaker near the battery and the engine), they'll have a short, and their car will burn to the ground.
TL;DR: Same write-ups for the bin apply, just to a battery box in the trunk instead of the seat. Use the right wire and fuse it. |

So I plan on using the most popular threads on this relocation but since it's so old I cant find the exact parts anymore so you have a good but not overly priced alternative to this? https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...063f1e8263.jpg |

Possible options. No personal experience with any of these, though:
Basically exactly that one, from what I can tell https://www.hifisoundconnection.com/...-SQU13-SQCB150 Another option https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item...r-SCBM150.html Crutchfield does car audio stuff well. Should apply just fine here https://www.crutchfield.com/p_142CBM...r-140-amp.html |
We've got something in the works and is now in the final stages! This should help for exactly what you need.
