BACV and rats nest vac hose question

I have a 1990 N/A convertible. The engine is from an automatic and is installed in a 5 speed. I just got my AFM and intake funnel in the mail today and was about to install the intake funnel when I noticed a problem. The problem is I have one open vacuum hose from the BACV and another one from what looks to be the rats nest (it comes out from underneath the UIM, against the firewall and wraps around the engine to where the hook up for the intake funnel is) both are the same size hose. The intake funnel has 2 areas for a vacuum hose to hook up to it but one is small and capped while the other is the correct size and open. My question is what vacuum hose connects to the intake funnel and where does the other one go that does not connect to the funnel? From what I read, the BACV vacuum hose connects to it but then where does the open vacuum line go from the rats nest? I will be taking a picture so yous can have a better idea of what Im talking about then me rambling on. Someone has to know what Im talking about, please help! I just want to start my 7! Thank you!

The line from the rats nest is the purge line.

Both the BAC and the purge line need to connect to the intake tube after the AFM.

Okay thank you very much Aaron Cake! I have a way to hook them both up figured out! Thread can/will be closed.
