backfire problems

when i get on the gas and get back off the gas it has started backfireing

Common problem, shows up more with aftermarket exhaust/emissions removal. Rotaries are known for throwing flames and shotgun backfires, some strive for this. :) It can also be an indication of an exhaust leak, no cat, leading ignition failure or the afr's are off.

Mine does the same thing. I love when it flames at night. It scares the SH@# out of people....
