aux port question

Hi all,
I have a s4 fc na, I been thinking if i install my LIM with the sleeve flipped.
I know the actuator move because i did the grease test but i dont know if the sleeve in the right positon and I don't really want to remove the intake manifold. I just want to make sure. At idle, if i manually open the port the engine would run rough? and if the LIM is install with the sleeve 180 degrees off, nothing would happen when open the port, right?

If you had the lower manifold off and then sleeves out, then attention should have been taken to put them in the same way..
YA,I know,I DID IT TOO!!
That is how I know there is INFO on it..IF I can find it in my travels I can post it up in your thread.
The sleeves have a certain way to get orientated to go back in,so they are lined up with the engine ports. It has to do with the PIN on the sleeve and Dimple on the Iron.

if it on the wrong way, nothing would happen when you manually turn it?

Ok,If one port was open and the other was closed then you would get power loss on one rotor due to no Port activation.
Now,Installing the Port sleeves, you have to make sure that they are IN right or else this can happen. One goes one way and the other operates in the opposing direction(S4).
I'm still trying to locate the Thread..I know there was a Factory service manual write up on this too,as I followed it to put the sleeves back in as they moved when I installed the Manifold.I wanted to be sure they went in correctly.

HOLY Crap..I POSTED the info !
This is the Copy/Paste Reply in case you can't get the Thread.

This is a Handy little bit of Info to tell you HOW to Position your ports when you have made the "boo-boo" of taking them out and not looked to see where there are position wise!
If you look at The PIN of the sleeve it has a BIG side and thinner side.
Put the BIG side of the pin to 8 O'clock (rear rotor) and the Front rotor port sleeve pin to 4 O'clock.
That is it!,they are now properly positioned and You can put your Lower manifold back on.
If you get stuck, section 4A-60,4A-61 of the FSM will show you,But I thought at least one person would try to Search this.
Since you are Done now,Go get coffee,beer..cough,cough,whatever..do the Happy Dance!!

If you get a oem gasket,it has two little notches that you're supposed to line up with the pins also.
