auto swap out questions.

Alright.. I've been searching for some answers for almost 2days...

My car is an 87 na. Swapped from auto to manual. It does not have theft. As it has the blue connector under the trailing coil assembly...

I am the 4th owner of the car.
So I'm not sure if it has a manual engine harness or not. I'm assuming its the auto bc. I had to reinstall the intake manifold and the guy bought it from said he had trouble routing the harness.

So here's my situation.
With the n326 0797001888 ecu I get no sound from the starter. When I put my old n326 0797001886 ecu in I get s click at the starter. But it doesn't turn over.

According to the manual I have theres a inhibitor switch that stops power from reaching the starter. Which is located on the trsnny with a black with white wire and a brown wire. I cannot find this connection at all.....

I've tried jumping power to the starter from the battery and got nothing....

Does the switch have 2 plugs? One underneath and one further up the motor?

......I'm completely lost on what to do here.... it looks like there is a spliced connection going to the furtherest sensor in the manual tranny.... any help would be great.

Thanks in advice.

If you tried powering the starter directly from the battery and got nothing, it seems like the problem is a bad starter.

But wouldn't the fuel pump still kick on?

And why if i switch computers do I get a click. And with the other ecu I don't even get that?
