Am I wasting time

With a 20b series d swap into a truck?

everyone is telling to do a turbo 2 swap and build it up. I know 350whp isnt going to hold me for very long thats why Ive choosen the 20b to build. I just have been getting alot of hatered for doing the swap.

Im also wondering what little JDM nick nacks I can get for the engine to put some attention to it.

Wasting time? Its your time to waste so who are we to judge. :)

A 20B in anything is awesomer than a 13B in anything IMO. If your power goals exceed 400ish RWHP, then a 3 rotor is the way to go. ~500 is readily attainable. Traction will be a challenge so make sure you budget in necessary upgrades in wheel, tire and body mods to support that kind of power. Don't forget the brakes too. You'll also need a more robust tranny. Do some research on power levels that the tranny can withstand before they break. I usually see people start breaking trannies at 450 RWHP or so, not to mention diffs.

350-400 RWHP won't require as many drivetrain, suspension and brake upgrade$$$$ so plan accordingly if you want a setup with good driveability.

IMO, I'd do a TII swap on a truck. The truck chassis just isn't that great for the kind of power levels a 20B can make.

If you have the time and money to do such a project... why settle for a 13b? Heck, why not build up a 4 rotor?

If it is between a 20b and a 13b go 20b all the way. You will have the nicest truck around.

what type of truck? if it was a REPU, a rotary truck (the only one) anything would rip its drivetrain apart lol.

less a waste of time, more of a 20b. That said, i would still be jealous of a truck with it installed :-P

When it comes right down to it, it is all a matter of how much resources (time, money, work) you have available to throw at it. Mechanical aptitude also plays a big part in any major project. Do not just do something to do it or to prove a point either. Do it because this is what you are wanting to do. You will have a much easier time or it and it will be more more enjoyable.
