aesa 127

I have a 1985 rx-7 1.1 carb I have been having a hard time getting it to turn over

changed plugs, dist cap, rotor button, coils, and wires, with no luck. I just dis-

covered a soleniod broken on the carb. I can not find it in my repair manual. The

only numbers on it are AESA 127. It has two vacuum lines and electrical

connection on the bottom with a rubber cap also on the bottom.

Can someone please help me figure out what the name of this part is, so

I can order another one.

Still sounds like a "flood" situation to me, but let's here from the rest of the group first....myself...a little cup of tranny fluid down the carb, then have a friend stand by with Gumout carb cleaner while you crank it over...works everytime and the mosquitos are sent packing as the smoke bellows out...:rlaugh:

I use Seafoam to deflood. A couple ounces down the carb then start her up.

9 times out of 10, a no start on a 7 is related to flooding. Happens to the best of us at some point.
