How much power are you making with this setup? Will you be using the car on the street, for drag racing, road racing? What upgrades do you have to your cooling system?

Ultimately the way to know is to watch your oil temps. Depending on your usage, power level, etc you may or may not need the extra oil cooling.

All FD3S have at least one oil cooler, right? But Type-R and Type-RZ has two...

In the US where the OP is there were no Type R or Type RZ models.

We did however had R1 and R2 models which had two oil coolers. All other US models (base, touring, PEP, PEG) had one oil cooler as factory equipment.

need to change them and dino again. i drove 5times or 6times total after i bought the car because chicago weather sucks!! FD is in my garage.
when spring comes up gotta work on it. should i put extra oil cooler?
