94 RX7 Irregular Boost

I purchased the car about a month ago and while in great shape there is but one problem that seems to have me worried and a little lost.

The car boosts like it is receiving a shot of nitrous at around 5000RPM with no constant build up on the boost gauge. Up until the mark of 5000RPM it seems the car is showing constant vacuum. Once the boost is reached at the RPM mark it shoots up to 10PSI and shoots back down into vacuum with the BOV constantly open.

I have attached a few pictures of what seems to me to be an irregularity in the car setup. From what I can gather it looks to me as though the car has 3 blow off valves which is something that I have never seen nor heard of. I'm looking for any guidance or suggestions as to what I can do to remedy the nitrous shot as although fun at times doesn't seem normal to me.

the last one is surely a blow off, but i dont really understand where the other 2 things you are showing are put...what kind of turbine has this car? the pic is showing a single air filter so i assume it has been swapped to a single turbo...by the way what kind of engine management or boost management you got on it? it will be good to have some more info on the car

The two valves on the passenger side should be labeled:

* CRV - Charge Relief Valve
* ABV - Stock BOV

Since there is an additional BOV on the intake elbow, you can remove and cap the nipple for the ABV. Your car has a sequential turbo setup which appears not to be working properly. Check this site for some troubleshooting steps:

I just got home from the gym thanks for the responses ;) I read through the troubleshooting page and will try a road test this evening and post the results.

As far as the internals and engine management I have no clue whats in this car all I know is that I did a compression test on the engine before I bought it and it was good to go lol.

Here is a pic of the car when I bought it last month. I'll put the results of the test shortly and try to get one of my friends who knows more about vehicles to tell me whats what so I can provide more information.

Here is a quick video I made while going back to work (got called in). Sorry for the horribly shaky cam but I can't really do any better due to the lack of somewhere to mount the camera at the moment lol.

You really can't do a boost test in traffic. Pick a spot where you have some open road and perform the test:

I am having similar problems but on a stock motor...nothing aftermarket.
