* Even though your ambient is probably pretty cool where you live I don’t think those temperatures are worrisome. Our North American S6 FD’s factory thermoswitch threshold was 105 C. (220 F.) But I’d get it fixed before summer temps arrive.
* Can’t recall the wire color off-hand but that’s almost certainly the lead for the missing thermoswitch connector. The small gauge and heat made them fragile and easy to break right at the connector. You’ll have to source a used one. But the good news is that if the Euro models were the same as ours, the S5 (89-91) FC connector is the same. In fact many of us change out the FD thermoswitch for the S5 FC thermoswitch because it’s threshold temp for low-speed fans is 96 C. (205 F.). A bit more margin for a low cost plug n play modification.

Cheers for the reply i sent an email to the person that mapped my car pip Gardner here in the uk and he explained to me that he mapped the radiator fans to come on at certain temps using the apexi power F.C. I think before it starts to get warmer I’m going to stick a new thermostat in and buy a aluminium radiator and flick the system that will hopefully keep it cooler and

Well the PFC explains why the connector was never replaced and your temps were still OK.

^ Correct and thanks. For posterity the black one is the thermoswitch which inputs the fans. I repeated the error. The green sensor is the thermosensor for ECU input.
