93 FD Build - Need Expert Advise

I am currently in Iraq, but will be purchasing a 1993 RX-7 Touring model (Black w/Red Interior) from my buddy. The car is stock except for a few upgrades for durability. He has done the following:
The car has 105,000 miles (here is what has been done by AIM in Indianapolis):
- Engine stock rebuild w/ 45,000 miles on it
- Stock Boost
- Downpipe w/ precat elimated
- Larger Radiator
- Silicone Hoses
- Transmission & clutch have 3,000 miles

I am going to build a Single Turbo Street Car that will see the drag strip every now and then. Shooting for around 450-500whp. (I have already built piston drag cars, so I have a lot of experience with cars, just not rotaries) Keep in mind that money is not really an issue with the build that will be done in a thoughtful manner. I just need advise on system upgrades, prioritizing upgrades, and recommendations on builders/parts.

First Phase
Fuel System (Fuel Pump, Injectors, recommendations)
Intercooler (FMIC) (Best system for stock bumper)
EMS (Increase Boost on Stock TT) (Recommendation on ECUs)

Second Phase
Ported "Street" Engine (Please recommend builders)
Single Turbo (Thinking of GT35 to 42 range)
Upgrade to 3" exhaust
Meth Injection

I understand that there are several other things that must be done w/ guages and sensors for the system. I didn't want to get into that much detail, but it is understood.

I really want to know if you were doing this to your car, who would you have build your engine, tune your car, and parts you would use to build your car (I am willing to travel!) . Your expertise would be much appreciated.

Are you doing all the work yourself or are you looking for a shop to set up the car and tune it for you? For your HP goal, you are also going to need ignition system upgrade, stronger clutch, boost controller, etc you might want to look around our store we carry everything you are going to need.

I am actually from Columbus, IN originally. AIM in Indy did a lot of the work on the car from the previous owner. I have a lot of experience with cars and mechanical skills (farm kid), but I understand that you need to pay to play. I always have my cars custom tuned by someone after a lot of research on the shop. I would definately have the engine professionally built, but I am also looking to learn about the car as it is built.

I understand that there are a lot of peripheral parts that must be added to the car when upgrading a car. I learned that lesson the hard way 10 years ago with my first turbo car!

I am open to any recommendations that you might have on the build, and recommendtion for parts. Thanks for you help.
Mark
