91 Vert - Will it run?

Hey all, I have a 91 vert that has sat for the past 9 or so years. I finally got it towed from my in-laws back to my place in an attempt to get it running again.
Its dirty and a little rusty but for sitting so long i half expected worse. Anyways giving it a brief look over it honestly didn't look too bad and i figured i would perform general tune up.
Change plugs, wires, new battery, replace all fluids, etc...

I started at the gas tank as there was gas left in it and honestly not bad compared to pictures I've seen online of others that has sat.

Moved over to air intake. Wow that's bad. So i pulled all the plastic pieces off or a wash.

Moved over to spark and this is where i went crap. I noticed a wire on the alternator connector was chewed through. Easy fix. Then i noticed one of the plug wires was completely detached(chewed through). Okay still an easy replacement.
Then i saw the main body of the front harness was chewed. crap...

Being a newbie I've never pulled a wiring harness out. How difficult is this?
Is it literally just unplugging sensors and detaching from loom clips?

Also my O2 sensor wire is chewed. I have a socket for this but can't seem to budge it at all. Any helpful suggestions on this one?
Picture later... Need to go, my 2 year old is yelling for me..

Thanks

For the O2 sensor (and practically every nut and bolt on our older cars), I've thought about trying a Bolt Buster BB2X-ACC High Power 1800W Heat Induction Tool Kit.

Has anyone else used one of these before?

First I've heard of that tool but it looks cool!! I was considering torching it to see if that would loosen it up. The wire is shot anyways as they chewed it all the way down by the sensor. So I don't think I can save it regardless.

nice looking project. maybe consider starting a build thread in the 2nd gen section.

I can move over there. I just didn't know if I needed to put it here since I'm still a newbie. No worries I'll work on moving it. No worries 👍

only the mod staff can move threads. just start a new one there.

Recommend putting some marvel mystery oil through the spark plug holes and hand cranking the engine over a few days to loosen up the seals and springs.

It’s straightforward on replacing the engine harness or chassis harness. It’s not “easy” as it’s a good amount of labor, but can be done. Just make sure to get the same year/trim.

pull the interior trim, dash, intake manifolds.
