91 rx7 turbo oil drain line on none turbo engine
I bought my 91 rx7 in December of 2014 the guy I bought it from said this was the second engine put in the rx7. The original was a none turbo 13 and the engine I have has the none turbo exhaust and intake bug it has a oil drain hookup for a turbo. So what im wanting to know is my engine suppose to have a turbo and is there away to block off the oil drain hole on the front cover or should I convert it to stock turbo. Also is there any difference when I turbo engine is swaped to none because my rx7 runs kind rough

Its under the omp and its plugged I was wondering if non turbo 13b front covers came with the turbo oil drian or just turbo. Because my car is none turbo |
pics do not work.
and if the OMP is unplugged then I would wonder why..or IF it has an RTEK ECU installed. You can put a TII front cover on an N/A engine so if it has a oil return on it then it may be there because it was getting a turbo,IS a TII engine running N/A or just because.... Check the front iron by the CAS to see if it has an Oil FEED for the turbo.(that would show that it could be a TII engine) |
