'87 turbo ii ignition problem

Well I have been having a variety of issues with this car, mainly related to idle, but recently my FC has not been able to start. At first I thought it was the fuel pump so I replaced it and afterwards it started up, however, the next day it wouldn't start. It has been pretty erratic on whether or not it will start. Sometimes it does, sometimes doesn't. It still cranks just fine though (has a brand new battery), just no ignition. I checked one of the sparks plugs and it looked pretty fouled up, even though I had changed them less than a month ago. Also, I checked if I was getting any spark out of the wires when I would crank it and I got nothing. That leads me to thingit might be something with the ignition coil... Anyway, I'm just looking to see if someone has any idea what this could be.

quite possibly is the the coils... They tend to die a lot from my experience.

The coils have B/Y wires which must have voltage w/key to on. You also might be flooding the engine.

I actually found out after trying all this that it was actually the air flow meter that was bad and not allowing for ignition.
