83 Mazda Rx-7 brake booster reloaction
 
I'm having challenges stuffing a 351 Cleveland into an 83 Mazda Rx-7. I'm wondering if anyone has had luck with relocating or replacing the brake booster, reservoir and associated pieces from the firewall. I'll be switching to a hydraulic throw out bearing for the T-5 I plan on using so retaining original components and geometry isn't important.

The issue I'm having is on the other engine swaps I've done it has been a tight fit. I anticipate the head will come into contact with everything taking up that area of the engine compartment. I feel my best bet is to relocate everything ahead of time.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

You may be able to get a replacement booster that will adapt to the car and your master..BUT I have been eying up some threads that are saying that a 351 in an FB is not really a easy task to put it mildly.302 is a better fit.
Cruise the Build threads and the V8 conversion section and get some ideas on how you would like to proceed.

*I'm tossing a 302/T5 in a FC..

Thanks for the advice. I've built 3 1st gen RX-7's with 302 Ford engines in them. I've seen some of the threads on installing a 351 Cleveland but I think the knowledge is lacking. The brake booster is the only challenge, for me anyways. I thought it would be a good question to get things started. Thanks again for the advice.
