20b or 26b turbo setup?

Ok I own my own garage but in new to rotors I know that the 20 and 26b are monsters but n/a :( I both motors from previous customer swaps. My 94 rx7 is single turbo bridgeported on e85 with to many bolt ons to name but it's about to give in way to much racing lol. Bottom line I want to turbo the 20b or 26b never heard of it done so which motor would be better, second any ideas on how to build? Thanks

Never heard of a 20B turbo? The 20B-REW is a twin turbo engine from the factory. There's an entire 20B subsection of the forum you can browse through for information.

As for a 26B, you can turbo anything if you have deep enough pockets.

I would say go 20b turbo, they readily available. 26bs are extremely expensive to build and you would have to start from scratch

By readily available, he means "you can buy them". You may find however that the price includes your first born and a few pints of virgin blood. These engines are hella cool, but they don't go in easy, are quite heavy and in my opinion a good LS swap is better. My local rotary guru bought a 20B-REW and after some frustration ended up only using it as an ashtray (seriously).

Only a handful of guys on the planet have managed to devise 4 rotor engines based on Mazda's own R26B (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R26B#R26B). It is retardedly complicated, expensive, and impractical. But if you have endless money anything is possible...

I have lots of 20 and 26b from previous customer swaps to because they r so common. I was bored so took one 26b out of my junk pile and put it in my 83 Corvette. I put on for Masterpower turbos and two ntercoolers and did port and polish plus Motec exhaust. Made mad tite power when I ran it on Astrolite A-1-5 fuel but I couldnt find a BOV that sounded good so I took the engine out. Neway to turbo the 26b I did a build with HKS hardened rotary cam studs, RE Amemiya oil passage rollers, Godspeed kevlar gasket set, and an Atkins steep-angled chine empennage section. I also used magnetos from a 80 Ford Pinto. Just make sure u run a line between the armature pre-oiler and the stator bolt shims.

Sounds like a real Touge-Drift-Street-show monster. Pics? :)
