1st-gen bolt patterns in Europe
Hey guys,
upfront I'm sorry if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find anything about it. Since the car is running now and has a valid title, I'm looking into my first modifications. Wheels came to my mind as one of the first things but I came to the conclusion that the market for the 4x110 pattern even more sparse than in the US (as in non-existent or expensive special order) I know about the practice of swapping in a GSL-SE rear end, but as far as I know, we never got the GSL-SE over here. Someone recommended me to use wobbly bolts, so that I could run 4x108 rims, but they seem sketchy to me. Can somebody recommend a way to change the bolt pattern to something different (possibly without wheel spacers) over here in Europe? The car is a '83 S2 FB Euro-spec. (Again I'm new to rotaries and modifying cars) |
Are you sure you can't get wheels like the Konig Rewind 15x7 20mm offset 4x110mm? They are realitivly cheap here in the US below $500 US for a set of four. Don't do the wobble bolts.

Best thing to do is just get 4x110 rims. Enkei, Panasport, Rota, Lots of styles to fit your car. I like 15" x 7", 4x110, 20ET/offset. GSL-SE swap is the most expensive and difficult way to change rims! I don't know what wobble bolts are but they sound terrible.
