1988 Rx-7 GXL s5 taillights what brake light switch do i use plus?
 
whats the proper brake light switch?
plus anything else i have to do?

taillight houseing was all ready notched from factory i thought that was cool to fit flat flush right. but

brake lights are constantly on. idk

The stock brake light switch is all you need. Sounds like yours may simply be broken.

it has single plug brake light switch now i need the two plug one right?

peep the new whip wide body rx7, tri point fenders, fc2000 front end, rare combat side skirts, demon rear bumper, 36mm spacers, shaved body moldings, 88 rx7 gxl, stock wheels 5 lug, i have 4x114.3 epsilons for trade or sale on the classifieds. for a set of 5 lug wheels.

Why you are screwin with the brake light switch is beyond me.It should not need tio be touched if you are just switching tails.
The s5 lights plug and play into the s4 body,except for a small notch that needs to be done to the metal on the body where the second big bulb( inside towards the clear lense) is.This will alow the connector to sit in nice and proper.
The Brake lights may be on all the time IF you have the Incorrect bulb in that spot.
putting a single filament(1157) where a dual filament(1257) bulb should be.

Just test your brake light switch according to the FSM to make sure it isn't stuck on. The existing S4 switch is all you need...you don't need to swap it.
