So I have never owned a RX7 before and I joined because I recently had a problem pop up when I went to start my car. Recently have been have the add coolant light come on and I have no idea why. More recently the car has been starting rougher. Yesterday it was like 30 degrees over night and I went to turn it over and it sounded awful to me, like a starter with the teeth all wore off or something. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on?

Well, the first place to start is to add coolant and properly bleed the system. Maybe there is a small leak somewhere and the level is just a bit low?

When you try to start the car, what noise is it making exactly? A grinding? Or is the engine just spinning without much resistance?

If the engine is just spinning over, then that's a typical sign of flooding, which will also make the car rough to start.

It sounds like spinning with no resistance.

Ok so I have another problem. I went to jump the car because I drained my battery trying to start it. Well I got the terminals mixed up and shorted and blew the main fuse. Well now the lights inside won't work, the stereo won't turn on and on the display the hatch and door lights stay on. Are there more fuses in my car? Also does anyone have any idea why the hatch and door lights would stay on?

Check the Audio fuse and the Room fuse in the interior fuse box.

The room fuse was it.
