1984 rx7 clutch pedal won't move

Hello everyone and thanks in advance I have a 1984 Mazda RX7 S model the car has sit for about 15 years I am fairly mechanically inclined So just from previous projects instinct tells me more than likely the reason the clutch pedal won't go down is because linkage for clutch cable has rusted and is no longer allowing it to move freely but I just wanted to ask if there was a common issue with these cars where this would happen before I start throwing money in places I might not need to also I have checked the fluid levels for the clutch and it is still full and the clutch pedal moved fine before the car set for the 15 years. The pedal will still move a little like the is a little slack some were but no matter how hard you push on the pedal it will not go to the floor so I don't think that there is some defect with the pedal I sure appreciate any help that is given

The RX-7 clutch is hydraulic. No cables or linkage. Replace the clutch master, slave, and the hose. Get the steal braided hose from racing beat. Might as well replace the brake master to. Bleed brakes.

Fresh oil, trans and rear end fluid. If you have the disc brake rearend, also get the limited-slip additive.
