13B NA Manual Transmission Fill Plug?
I was going to do a gearbox oil change today but realized that the pictures in the manual were for the turbo model. I have a 13B NA (Manual Transmission) and I was wondering where the fill and drain plugs were on the gearbox bell housing (drivers side? passenger side?). Can anyone help on this? I would have spent more time looking for it but another job I was doing took longer than I expected.

Driver's side square-ish plug..take the highest one.
Drain of course is the one on the bottom. Just to Let you know ahead of time, you CAN'T fill the trans by the shifter hole!! If anyone told you that then dump a quart in their shifter and see how they like cleaning the carpet.(it's a separate part from the main oil containment area).I wanted to mention that as it has been suggested before and it just ends up as a giant disaster. |

the bushings on the shifter make a hell of a diffrence on the trans. i had an 89 fc that an "enthusiast" owned, he decided to remove them all together...itwas terrible going through the gears.
