10th Anniversary RX7 Question

I'm in the process of trading for my first RX7 it is a 88' Turbo 2 10th anniversary car. It has a bad front fender and the paint has bad spots, the interior's leather is cracking. I was wanting to know if being a 10th anniversary car makes it worth something or does it not really matter at this point? I don't have the money for a restoration and was mostly wanting to refurbish the interior and hopp up the engine. What do you guys suggest? Also I'm used to dealing with american muscle parts houses like Jegs or Summit, is there a one stop shop to deal with on RX7 aftermarket parts? I have looked at parts on some of your vendor sites but none are one stop shops.

Thanks,
Tony

People will argue, but a 10thAE is nothing more then a TII with a few different options, gold tinted windows and nice paint. The price for a 10AE is only a little higher then a TII of the same year and only if it is original. All the value lays in the options and paint. Like a mint condition TII, a mint condition 10AE can be of much higher value. But being an AE, it is only worth more then a standard TII if the person buying it is willing to pay.

There are many companies that sell aftermarket parts for the RX-7s. Check out the vendor forums.

There isn't really a collector market for RX7's so a 10th AE isn't particularly valuable on its own. It is one of the better platforms to work with, though.
www.fc3spro.comp is a great place to start when modifying turbo cars.
Mazdatrix is a great place for all kinds of oem and some aftermarket parts. Racing beat is an established name for performance as well. This site has a wealth of information about almost any modification you can do.
