Thanks Jim @ JPRimports!!!

When I blew my diff at Atco I brought him my extra diff housing and a brand new Kaaz 1.5 LSD and had him install it for me. He did it in good time and I'm back on the road again because of it. The work is top notch!!

Thanks again Jim.

Oh and after breaking it in and driving with it for a day and a half it still clunks like a mother fucker on slow tight turns. LoL..

Thats probably worn mounts more then anything else. New toe links, front diff, rear diff and front subframe mounts along with a pinion snubber is the only way to go considering how weak the design is on the rear of the car. The only thing holding the differential down is the rubber on the front diff mount and competition or not it sucks and it's loose. Thats where the largest amount of force is lifting the pinion into the underside of the car, the metal tabs snap off if you try to weld the mount.

Besides going over to a cobra rear anyway.

glad to hear your back on the road. Hear only good things from JPR imports

I hear you on that. I have solid rear diff mounts, solid subframe mounts, newer front diff mount and a pinion snubber. I had to do the pinion snubber to get rid of that stupid rear end slap that I used to have when I adjust out to much camber from the rear camber bar.

I'll give it a few more days of driving around and giving everything time to settle I'll throw it on the lift to make sure I didn't forget to tighten anything down.

Nope. :) LoL.. From reading around, I understand its normal. It just caught me off gaurd of how noticeable it is.

Anthony has some secret sauce that will get rid of your clunking! :D

Silverfc88 11-18-07 10:53 PM

I thought running anything other than the Kaaz oil was a big no no? If you have a suggestion throw it up. I'm going to be swapping the fluid here pretty soon to get rid of the break in oil.

You sound exactly like me when I'm the drag racing forum pulling teeth to get info! :)

Use the Kaaz oil, no other secrets once the kaaz is already in!
