I'm gonna go to the island event fayetville style and hope they dont notice me lol, but I do have an apt to drop my car at a chassis shop the morning after this event to put a 10 point in in time for summer slam.

ive never wanted to put a cage in my car, and i hope i dont regret doing it, but i wanna have fun at the events and 11s aint gonna cut it...

 

Roan, if you throw together some pcp pipe caging I got a can of dark gray paint! might pass for steel! hahaha. Not sure if you will regret putting in a cage but your car was not meant for 11's... your 11's should be after letting go halfway down the track and rolling the rest of the way!

Doe anyone know if there will be any 7 or second supras or Z cars there?

 

Lets hope so! Last year there was about 30 rx7's and like 15 supras I think. but I feel that because of the location its either going to be a hit or a miss.

 

7 second cars? I'm not sure... I spoke to a few guys with 6 and 7 second cars and told them to bring thier street cars to the event. I've sen 7 sec domestics go down the track at Island before, but i'm nervious to even watch a 7 second import make a pass there. the domestic guys dont run MPH like imports in the 7's

 

There are a few 8 sec cars and at least 1, 7sec car that I know of..but we want to match them up with any supra or z-cars ...although its a short track with a parachute you can stop with no problem.

 

Looks like rain for sunday. Does anyone know whats the rain date for this event, if any?
