Secaucus road became a trap for speeders now. Back then when i first moved to secaucus, i sometimes used to hit a buck coming down the hill from jersey city, then just cruise the entire secaucus stretch til i hit the titty bar AJ's. Now they have 3-4 patrol cars daily, all day watching that 1/2-3/4 mile.

People now literally have to do 25mph or their getting pulled over. Before even when i wasnt speeding, the normal speed i go on that road regularly is like 50mph. Its gonna be hard adjusting.

 

back in the day, route 21 used to be a good speeding spot.. but bad pavement these days....

tell you the truth, west 80 goin towards 287 is pretty good, aside from the 4 spots where cops usually hide (right by 46/80 exchange, by pine brook on the little bridge/turnaround, 46/287 interchange, and the 5 lane spread around the mountain towards rockaway).... they usually are just lazy and leaving the radar on, so if your detector bleeps, just slow down, other than that... free to go

Unfortunataly I cant make it tomorrow due to the rx7 having some turbo issues. I will be there next week for sure though. P.S its suppose to rain tomorrow.

Yeah, you cant speed there but Rt.7 is always open when I drive down there. It only sucks when you get stuck behind a slow truck though.

its nice to see all u rotor heads in nj i'm moving out there the 16th of feb to mcguire air force base (its connected to fort dix) and i'm currently in the process of buying and modding my car. LOL o hell nah, i didnt live by there, **** that. That place is a damn jungle. My friend lived on parampo ave, a block from the walgreens there and that was the only times i ever go down that area.

I lived in the decent area of the heights. If you know/knew where standard tile is on the blvd, then i lived 3 blocks from there, off kennedy.

But thank god im out of that jungle and into a relatively better area. Its still really close to JC but its like night and day where i live now and JC. The people, the neighborhood, the girls lol. I like it here.

I'm gonna try to make it to the tuesday meet. I'll be driving the stock altima so don't make fun of me and don't don't at like a stranger, I'll be the tall korean guy come over and say hi.

Hey, you can have the meet over at my place in Lyndhurst…. Providing you help my push the 7 into the driveway since my alternator went and I cant get a new one till this weekend.

 

Idk about the others but i like 8s.

But i dont feel like dragging myself and my car in 25-30 degree weather just to see about 5-7 cars i see all the time everyday (no offense to 8 owners).

Now if its a huge meet where every single week there are tons of cars, ranging from all different models, exotics to imports, to this, to that, then im sure you will get alot of showings from people on this forum and especially me.

When the weather gets warmer and people see there are more than just the same 8's and 2 FC's, then im sure you guys will get more people.

 

i just meet cuz i like the guys that show up.....its becoming more a friend thing now.....but if you are just into the cars then thats you....im not sure if we ever met personally but i can assure you we are a cool bunch of peeps......its kinda like a poker night now with us......
