give me a call when you want to go.

Anyone have a t2 drive shaft and rear end? Also 1000cc injectors? or a s4 t2 ecu? Or just a whole t2 car with a blown motor or no motor thats not trashed? I would even be willing to trade my running 86 gxl with a rebuilt motor and a 88 se parts car for a whole t2 with or with out a motor.

anybody want a removable IDE HDD setup with 3 sleds?
this takes up a 5.25" drive bay but lets you swap out HDDs without opening the case. NOT hot swapable.

its FREE. perfect for a test computer

Joker1337 10-14-07 11:11 PM

Be real interested in that sorta thing if no one else is Akuma.

eage8 10-15-07 07:33 AM

I wouldn't mind it, but joker cand have it. I'm using a IDE>usb adapter right now and it works fine.

AkumaKuruma 10-15-07 07:39 AM

Joker: gonna have to columbia some evening to get it from me then. otherwise i'll just give it to mike since hes like a mile away.

Tofuball 10-15-07 08:11 AM

I have that tool if you needed it.

But it's crappy design to make you have to pull the hub to do the rotor.

What in the world were they thinking?!

you should probably weigh the price of recoring vs a new radiator. It'll most likely be close which is why many radiator shops no longer re-core.

Tofuball 10-15-07 12:42 PM

I have a rad if you need it

I thought they only did that crap for one or two years. I didn't think your '93 would have that.

Just pad slap it and call it a day...

Yeah, I've got one too, but it's ALSO 20+ years old.

F1BLUERX7: Figured I couldn't get a new one so I'd get it re-cored. But I hadn't actually checked...And I definately see your point, and I'd rather have a new one anyway...guess I'll check...

Joker1337 10-16-07 11:04 PM

Akuma, came into possesion of a bigger ATX case, don't need the adapter. Thanks for the reply though.

He hallways at my work after hours would make a great electric car race track.

Also: My HOA has accused me of "running a welding buisness out of my garage" and they have raised concerns that the "propane from welding is dangerous"

I say you copy the letter exactly. Swap the association's name with yours and replace their representative's name with Pele Esq. PC. Attorney At Law. Replace all their accusations with "yo momma" jokes. Replace whatever fine they propose with "STFU", "GTFO", or "DIAF"...

I will personally serve them.

I now hold in my hands a copy of COMAR: Code of Maryland Regulations.

This is the book that defines what does and does not pass inspection. So if your inspection guy is messing with you, or you just want to know what is going to be checked ahead of time, you can come by and check it out.

just because I'm curious, what are the official rules about aftermarket exhausts and ride height?

I havent checked the part about ride height yet, but the aftermarket exhaust clause is very nebulous. Basically "It must be OEM or equivalent" and it's up to the inspection dude as to what "Equivalent" is.

Equivalent: corresponding or virtually identical especially in effect or function

So, an equivalent effect would be any exhaust that did the same job as the OEM one, keeping noise down and piping it out the back of the car.

You boys staying out of trouble? I'm looking to get a WRX wagon when i get home from Iraq -

Think i should save money and get the '02 - '05s and get the 2.0T or get the '06-'07 and get the 2.5T. OR should i blow big bucks and get the redesigned 2.5T '08.

If you guys want to see pictures of Iraq - http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...a&id=209700584

Take care!!

Tell me something about Window tint...

Say I cruise in with a tinted car and they don't like it. How can they confirm that it is above or below legal limits?

This has happened to several of my co-workers. They eyeball fail it even though it's legal.

long time no see erik, look like you're having fun :p:

we definitly need to hang out when you get back.

my brother just got a '07 that I drove and it's pretty nice. the new wagons are pretty sweet though, and they have better rear suspension.

I would probably go with the 08 if I was going to get a wagon, but if I was short on money I would probably get the 02-05. the 06-07s are nice, but I don't think they're worth the extra money over the 02-05s.

let me know when you're back man.
