IR Performance: experience 5 stars

IR Performance:
I just want to take this time to Thank Ihor and the Team for being the standup guys they are...My car was built by Ihor and his team and there work was impeccable, Unfortunately my motor lost compression due to defective seals....Ihor being a man of his word and warranting his work took my car back and replace seals and got my car back up and running with good compression #s again....I kno there is alot of people who talk negative about the shop and bash them for numerous things but good work doesn't happen over night...patience is key cause at the end of the tunnel you will get a clean reliable build...overall experience I have nothing to complain about besides Thanking IR Performance for everything they have done and making my dream car come to reality and bringing it back from the dead as my car was one hell of a puzzle for them...despite all the negative stuff people say and talk about them Ihor and his team are in the shop 6 to 7 days a week working all sort of hours getting customers cars done and trying to gain the respect and loyalty of them.....my overall experience was 100% positive

I don’t believe the people who bought & paid in full with IRP for new 13B-REW engines several years ago and never received them, and that Mazda has since doubled the price, can be called bashing. I know somebody who is one of those people. Been trying to reach him, because he pretty much has disappeared from the forums, and likely that situation of being out $5000-$6000 without receing the engine is a large factor.

Glad to hear you’re satisfied with your experience at IRP though and that your dreams weren’t smashed. Thanks for sharing it.

The OP sure is doing the community a service here. Probably got a discount in exchange for PR. Nothing to see here, don’t worry about the “negative stuff” and just have a little patience, it’s all rainbows and butterflies. Sad

That is, given it was the actual IRP they where dealing with, and not the false IRP scam business.
They have made a statement about having a dishonest employe that redirected and scammed a lot of customers through a false business front.
Everyone who have outstanding orders should contact them.

What is the official contact and website of IRP? I have been trying to source a specific operating range oil cooler thermostat and this forum has mentioned they seem to be the only ones offering the range I want.

The website was taken down. The best thing to do is to
email or call the listed phone number based on what I was told when I last spoke with them and ordered an oil pan brace.

Based on your post would this work? https://www.improvedracing.com/high-...hermostat.html

Thanks, that would certainly work, but I am trying to utilize the stock oil cooler thermostat locations.

Thanks for the tip. Specifically I am trying to find one that starts to open at 180F and is full open at 200F while still maintaining the stock oil cooler location. I haven't been able to get a hold of IRP so I am not even sure if theirs offered truly starts to open at 180F or is full open by 180F. I have seen it referenced elsewhere that they offered a 180F opening range with a 200F full open temp thermostat.
