Hey guys, n00b here

New owner here, just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been in love with these cars for a long time and always managed to talk myself out of buying one. Well, that inner dialogue failed today and I picked up my first Mazda. Prior to this I've been pretty heavily into Mitsus, having owned a 3000GT, Eclipse GSX and Galant VR-4 (which I still have). I've been heavily involved on Rally/RallyX, AutoX and to a lesser extent drag racing and road racing. Anyway, here's a pic of my new baby that I picked up just 2 hours ago and have already washed and waxed:

I've got a lot of experience turning wrenches on Mitsus but none whatsoever when it comes to these cars so if anyone can recommend any things I should look for immediately, any good resource/VFAQ sites or perhaps any good vendors/dealers that are reliable/fast/have discounts on OEM parts like Conicelli/JNZ does to DSMs, that'd be much appreciated. Looking forward to a lot of fun here! Thanks!

There is a FAQ stickied at the top of the 3rd Gen Performance forum. Read that, and read every link in there. Look for Malloy (in the FAQ too) as they have the best prices short of Mazdacomp.

Herndon, in Fairfax Co.

The car is mostly stock '93 with 74k miles on it. 5k ish on a new PFS motor. Has a PFS 3" catback and that's about it. Has some mechanical issues, paint issues on the hood, the usual stuff with the door handles, and probably lots of problems I don't know yet (don't know if the fuel filter has EVER been replaced, things like that). So I'll probably have my hands full getting to know this thing :)
