BBQ get together?

Is there any interest in getting together for a BBQ this summer at my place? I live south of Bethlehem about 15 miles in the country. I'll cook up the BBQ if people bring drinks. And there's a pool if anyone wants to swim.

Thank you. I thought people would enjoy an Rx-7 meet during the summer. I haven't seen a lot of them around the tri-state area. I guess I need to look harder.

Cool. Here's the "collection". I'm putting up a small second garage for the motorcycles so the Maserati doesn't have to stay outside. They take up a full bay now.

I'm thinking the weekend of July 29-30th, but would be open to maybe the 5th or 6th of August as well. I'm also open to suggestions? There are 4 guys so far wanting to come from the Rx7 group on Facebook and some others who are Rx7 friends locally. So, we have maybe 10-13 people right now. I would really like to just hang out and eat and talk. Maybe swap cars and see what some other cars are like by taking quick drives down nearby roads. (I'm not sure many people have driven an NA 3 rotor and I would be happy for people to drive mine, as much as is possible.)

I will watch this thread to see what date this happens on. I am off most weekends, so any date should work for me.

Wow, if it means I can drive a 3 rotor, I'll definitely try to make that trip from Brooklyn! And also a test of endurance to see how far my FD runs.

That's a very generous invitation. I would love to meet other RX7 owners around here. I'm in South Jersey so it's not too far of a ride. I don't see many of them around. I was geeking out to my wife the other week when someone in a FB passed by and had a "jeep wave" kind of deal.

What's everyone's poison?

That's very generous and sounds like fun! I'm not too far away in the Pottstown area and may be able to come depending on the date and other obligations. As a long time lurker it would be cool to meet up with a lot of other people from here. Don't think I've been to anything since a Rotorfest over a decade ago...

When you nail out the details I'd definitely try to make it.

Hope you can come. The food will be especially good. Its going to be either Saturday the 5th or Sunday the 6th. Trying to decide what's better for people. Love to see your car. Have seen very very few chaste whites in person.

Ooooh unfortunately the CW is just the avatar I picked! This is my Montego Blue, which is infinitely more common.

I hope I'm still invited!
