has anyone ever run one of those FAST ez-efi systems

???? just wondering, because I traded a chevy motor for one and would like to try it on my 12a.

i tryed it on a sbc with my brother and it worked nice easy to use but i dont think it could work for a rotary(ignition split) but im no expert.

I've often pondered using this or customizing a gm tbi system for a 4cyl or v6 and making an adapter to mount it. Most ez efi systems theoretically should mount to an rb holey 4bbl intake and from them its mapping the ecu and getting the injectors right good possibility it's doable i say if you have the time and parts give it a try.

i found a throttle body i like by holley, part number is 112-577 it has 1,000cfm flow rate with 44.45mm throttle plates. i figure that's 4x44mm where factory is 3x43mm and it gives 1 throttle body per rotor in the light throttle area and then 2 throttle bodies per rotor under heavier throttle.im thinking stock N/A injectors for primary and turbos injectors for secondaries, it should keep decent mpg while offering better throttle response and more top end. im planing a bridgeport though so maybe 4 turbo injectors? any stand alone ems should be able to tune it, prolly have to go to the boneyard and salvage the plug off a chevy for the tps but other then that, should work just fine. this is the best idea i have found for more of an itb set up for the rotary. the idea of replaceing 3x43mm throttle bodies with 2x50mm just didnt sound smart, even using teminator 2 61mmx2 is still only 122mm where stock is near 130mm but 4x44 is 44mm larger at least lol. just an idea, u can get a 4bbl holley style manifold from Pro Jay (Jaytech) for like $250 i believe? anyways, this is some ideas i came up with after searching. if anyone has any thoughts on this, please chime in.

I've been working with a FAST XFI and some people are going to probably groan, but the system's tuning software makes it almost as easy to tune as Megasquirt. And "only" is just because it doesn't tune by a nice 3D graph but just by a stack of numbers, which is somewhat less intuitive. But there are other features that I'm learning that are nice.

And the XFI is *damned* robust. It's a very good value for the money (especially if you buy it from Hartline Performance :icon_tup: )

i plan to run either a megasquirt 2 or a haltech. i want to run a megasquirt 2 but unsure of how to run the ignition on a 13b since ms2 only feeds one coil pack.i know i know search and i am, just don't want to buy a ems and have to modify it to work on my 13b.
