enzo tune,my full bridge t2 n/a

tune done on a mainline dyno, which reads less than other dyno's, enzo has tuned alot of rx7's from the forum in the nj,ny,and pa, areas, including his own track beast 7, enzo knows his dyno reads 25% off from true numbers, after my tune his dyno read 208 @8500 rpm, add 25% difference, which put me at 260, now i dont feel that is what i put down, were as i think its more in the 20% to 17% difference which is putting me in the 249-244 whp range. its a known fact that mainline dynos dont put out correct #s, ive searched the web and found numorus threads about tunners cars reading less than there true numbers. im very happy with the results of this build, many thanks to jpr in south jersey and enzo. i plan on having some freindly runs with some friends to see what she can do. and will report back results good or bad.

that thing sounds like a machine gun @idle! i'd be happy with 208hp too, especially on a t2 intake!

Dyno numbers are like map numbers in the ECU, the actual number doesn't matter. What matters is if the engine works or not.

We just had a car on the dyno, the operator said it was "480 at the wheels" on the first pull. I thought about it, and the injectors were dumping fuel for about 450 or so at the crank. No way was it 600hp at the crank, which is what I'd expect for an automatic car, unless you can get sub- .40lb/hp/hr on C16.

What do you mean by "now"? He sold the engine and IRS and is putting a piston engine in it. :(

Congrats on the dyno and Peejay is right. It' doesn't matter what the car dyno's but what it does on the track or what you wan't. Have fun now. :)
