hey finally another guy you can add to the wyoming list! i live in riverton. i have a 88 N/A that is soon to get a tII swap as soon as i find the parts. my other cars i have other than the seven is a 77 trans am, 2000 lifted silverado, 69 chevy c-10, 98 lifted dodge ram, 07 ktm outlaw, 04 rhino, a few old buggies that i need rid of and a few other junk pickups and such that are donner rides. i own a shop here in riverton. i have 2 full bays and a tunnel bay that can fit about 4 or 5 FCs in it (fc is a good unit of measure eh) if anyone is near here and wants to work on some cars, cruise the sevens around or just plain hang out, play some video games, drink beer and turn tools your welcome to stop by. i have any tool you can think of plus paint booth etc. so if you want to fix something or build something from your ideas just hit me up!

:beer::beer:

+1 I am in Casper, WY about to start driving a 1988 GXL converted to TII

florotory 10-04-09 08:54 AM

i lived in cheyenne for about 5 years. my dad has a t2 which hes had since new. I am currently in cheyenne picking it up to take back to florida with me.

BuujinBejiita 11-18-09 08:39 PM

Hey everyone I had a 1986 FC but sold it due to popping the rear rotor and didnt have the time/funds to rebuild it. A few months ago my girlfriend bought me a 1988 GXL with a blown motor and I have since got a JDM TII motor for it and am currently swapping it in.

wankle1 12-19-10 04:11 PM

Any other Rx7 owners around Rock Springs/Green River?

Shorty2tall 06-02-11 01:16 PM

im in cheyenne, WY i have a '86 rx-7 gxl that needs lots of work so if any of yall know a good bite hi me up and maybe yall can help? lol

KumoKyu 06-02-11 10:19 PM

I was born in Cheyenne but my RX-7 is now in Dallas getting ready to be shipped to Italy.

sikzslyder 08-09-11 12:15 PM

I am in cheyenne, and am about to pick up a turboII in the next couple weeks.
will be a big upgrade from the na miata i have lol.

shorty i am not really too knowledgable on rotary but i have worked on a few of them. Hit me up sometime and maybe we can work on them :)

florotory 08-09-11 12:33 PM

ill probably be in cheyenne soon for a little while (my dads health not good). I used to live there, wouldnt mind checking out your new ride if you get it.

sikzslyder 08-11-11 08:57 AM

Heck ya man would be glad to go for a cruise or have you look it over, looks like you have plenty of mods to your 87 :)

only thing wrong with it right now is one inner tie rod is broken, any suggestions on what brand to get for a replacement?

depends on what you plan on doing with the car. if just basically dd with occasional hard driving just a basic tie rod will work

slowmomiata 12-05-11 11:27 PM

Gitfiddle 05-01-12 01:30 AM

Anybody alive from the Gillette area?
I've had an rx8 for about 3 years now, but I'm looking to get rid of it to get out from the payment. Hoping to nab an rx7 as a replacement to putt me around until November.

wankle1 07-25-12 11:07 PM

Saw a brown vert today in Green River with county 10 plates.. decent looking car looks mean from the back with the amount of camber. Bet he's not on here though. shitballs.

BJ_NCC 04-07-13 04:31 PM

started working in casper

i just started working in casper a month ago, still living in riverton. im lookin to find out who all lives in casper. i want to start getting some cool drives together, bbqs, etc. also would like to help eachother work on our 7's.

gotz02skate 01-20-14 10:07 PM

anyone active here? new to wyoming, new to rotary 86 n/a Located in cheyenne

gt45r 01-21-14 01:24 PM

Hey man welcome. Im still active on this sight every now and again tryin to get parts for my Mazda. Glad to see another rotor head in Wyoming

gotz02skate 01-21-14 04:20 PM

would say good to be in wyoming but its a rough change from los angeles
, car scene is a fraction of what im used to.. potential rotor head, still indecisive on whether i wanna give swapping and rebuilding a 13b TII or if i wanna just go for a different swap,
Maybe you can persuade me to keep it no pistons lol.. any decent tuners around?? or easy to learn stand alones?

gt45r 01-23-14 01:43 AM

That im not sure of im still learning rotor myself and i just love the concept of what is going on inside of a rotor vs piston let alone they are a far superior of an engine then piston just issue can be the apex seals but there are good designs for those now that can last a good while......I know there is much more of a scene of rotor heads in sd even was a first annual rotor rally this last november...

BJ_NCC 01-23-14 04:09 PM

Hey im still active every once in awhile. I have 2 fc rx7s. I travel the state for work so if u guys ever need some rotary help just let me know. Also im selling my hatchback right now if u know anyone

gotz02skate 01-25-14 10:21 AM

will keep in mind while i swap the T2. looking into it iwas pretty worried about the rear end swap but seems pretty do-able

gt45r 01-27-14 02:46 AM

Well its alot easier then a Porsche or bmw rear end lol

gotz02skate 01-30-14 02:39 PM

yeah more research and im pretty confident easy swap, the turbo 2 read end/ diff..
also looked into the 4 caliper brake swap with the s5 rotors, also looks do able, so getting confident..

sucks that i wont have a garage until june ish, so all i can do is plan.. looking into battery relocation right now.. and from past experiences in wiring electricity isnt my best suit

gt45r 01-30-14 02:49 PM

If yea need help with wiring i can help yea ive done a few tucks and battery relocation

BJ_NCC 01-30-14 02:58 PM

I will help ya too if im around where u are. Im an electronic engineer and have done wiring on dozens of cars so i know my way around a lil ;)

wankle1 01-30-14 07:31 PM

Uggghhh someone move to sweetwater county with an rx7!! I swear i have the only running one in the whole county.

ScrapFC 01-31-14 12:18 AM

Hey guys. If you're not too proud to hang with a Colorado (Ex-Cali) guy, I'm not too proud to come up to Cheyenne for a rotorhead gathering. Active rotary guys seem to be kinda thin in Larimer and Weld counties.

gt45r 01-31-14 12:39 AM

Yea even up in campbell i only know of 1 or 2 running fbs and my work in progress fd

BJ_NCC 02-01-14 02:37 PM

Yeh ive only seen 2 other rx7s in fremont county and they are both sitting in sheds lol. Def need to get a meet up going. Sense i moved back to wyo i have yet to get in with a car group again. Miss having rotary drives and drift sessions. Track days full of drifting were soo much fun. And plenty of cool drives around these areas we could do.

gt45r 02-01-14 04:00 PM

Well once i get mine done id say lets pool all the wyo rotors together

WyomingTII 03-20-15 10:22 PM

Glad I found this thread, I was starting to get lonely. I live in Fremont County more specifically Lander. Here I was thinking I was all alone. Where to start. I have 2 rx7's. Lander seems to be the place for rx7' though.... just no drivers. The first is an almost bone stock red 86 Fc Non-Turbo Rx-7 2+2 with a full racing beat dual exhaust and some emissions deleted (my reliable, baby). The second is a black Bridgeported 87 Fc Rx-7 TII with a Fuel Cut defender, Apexi N1 exhaust without cat, Walboro 255lph fuel pump, 720cc secondaries, cold air intake, aluminum pulleys, intercooler sprayer and of course a reasonable 10 pounds of boost, and a 3 row racing radiator...soon to be installed FMIC as well. There's an FB GSL-SE for sale and 2 Rx-8's driving around. That's 5 rotary powered cars (that I know of) in a town of 7000. Anyone else in Fremont County?

WyomingTII 03-24-15 11:56 PM

Anyone?

gt45r 03-25-15 12:09 PM

Havent seen anyone on here from Fremont. I live in Campbell

BJ_NCC 03-25-15 02:35 PM

Hey man, glad to see someone post on here again lol. Im over in riverton, have two fc's. currently the convertible is in remodel mode lol. Seen a few FC's running around lander when im over there.
