Since our big Rotary meet won't be until August.....I would like to hold a mini meet at this event. So all gens please show up.....It specifically states that this is for all models tricked out or not......Do not think of this as a Car Show! Just show up! I will have more details for you later!

i will most deffinatly try to be there if my car is running which it should be just about got the new carb on and tuned all sorta fun to be had there. i love the idea by the way i am new to the rx7 scene and havent made it to any meets yet so this should be way fun

Is Albert the one with the Orange Eclipse? Is he going to race in the June 11th Import drags....Hopefully he will be in SRWD!

I can't make my car start up on time. can i used a DD to come for the event?

Hell yea...come on down.....just can't park with all the other Mazda's! We are used to having more Rotary owners without cars then with cars! LOL

I need to get the tires in for my wheels, and get my exhaust back on, but if I can get those two things done I'll be there.

Or I'll bring the VR and try to whore it out and sell it :)

Well, got my tires and new wheels mounted, so im definately planning on being there. Are people cruising up there together? If so where and when. If not, would anyone be interested.

I am coming from Colorado Springs if you are coming from that area.

I will be there from 11am - 1pm......I have to qualify for NHRA import drags at 2pm at Bandimere! Hope to see the Rotaries in full effect! Gateway Mazda gave us a whole row so we can park together. Let's show the Mazda 6 guys they aint shit!

Blah wish I coulda made it, had the car back together, was simply just gonna throw my DP,MP, and cat-back on. That damn top/rear DP bolt was so seized on i couldnt get it off w/out breaking it, worked it for two days. So after finding about a million miscellenaous vacuum hoses that needed replacing and accidentaly snapping the brittle ass wire to my O2 sensor, im almost ready to go again, hopefully ill have it on the road by monday-tuesday.

From the sounds of it, you didn't miss much.....Sounds like Rotary guys don't like looking at Mazda 6's and Miata's......Plus I didn't call everyone like I do for the big meets.

good lord 7 seconds at altitude in a 7?? Good lord we need to get him out here for a week to tune, I'd be willing to shell out extra dough to have him come out!!!!!!!!!

I figure it's worth a try to get him out here.....I just wanted to make sure I have my fuel system installed first. I don't think money is any concern with Demitrious.....he is just so busy but he is a really nice guy......I'm afraid the only time we would be able to get him to tune for us is to bring him out a couple days early for next years NHRA import drags since he will be here anyways.

Mike, i can't find the video of the race on the weblink u gave me.

The more I look at that launch.....the more I think I can get a 1.3 60 ft........It was pathetic....I didn't even use my line lock to do a burnout in 2nd gear and really heat the tires up. You can tell I bogged the launch by how bouncy the car is.....


If you listen to my shifting you can tell I was still pretty slow on 2nd and 4th gear and 3rd gear took me for ever to get in since I had to wait for the RPM's to drop.

the shifting of ur gear and the sound of it is not slow compare to some of the videos i saw when they race. :bigthumb:
