Backyard Burgers is a fast food joint(nice) on W. 21st Street. On Friday nights they have a "Cruise-In Car Show". No reservations, no awards, no fees. Just pull in , park, walk around, hang out, eat and enjoy yourself. All types of vehicles can be expected, muscle, classic, euro, rice, kits, motorcycles, trucks, lowriders, etc. There is usually a DJ on site. Its a nice family atmosphere and on a nice night the place is usually PACKED! Easily 50-150 cars on a nice Friday nght. If you have never been I strongly recommend it on a good weather evening. I will be unable to attend do to the fact I work 2nd shift. Sorry...
Have fun!

I might try to swing by after our Good Friday service at church... Will depend on how good the kids are, but I know my son would get a kick out of it.

We'll see.

Yes, any given Friday evening in the spring/summer when the weather is nice. People usually hang around from like 6:30-9:00PM.

Wanted to let the Wichita guys know I have a cheap, '91 FC n/a that I need to get rid of. It's complete, no title, and has some issues. Selling as a parts car for $450. PM me for details.

Sheesh, too bad I have no space already... My wife would flog me for picking another up.

Oh, by the way, we stopped at BYB tonight around just a little after 8pm. Only saw 1 FB and that's about it -- was that anyone from on here? Where was everyone else -- gone by then? Seems like everyone was starting to leave about the time we got there, so may have just missed you all.

Anyway, lots of other cars there, would be nice to see a few rotaries though.
Catch you all next time.

I just got that radiator for bajaman (thanks again!) so hopefully I'll have the car back up to top shape here in a week or so. I think going to BYB for a meet sounds like a great idea if we can organize it.

Actually that was my Blue SA, and I was walking around with Seth 1884 all night, sorry I didn't see you. How about everyone post a date that they can be up at BYB and we'll meet up when it is convient for everyone.

Saw a silver FD at Mid Continent Airport yesterday! I am not sure I have EVER seen a silver FD in Wichita. Couldn't see the plates to see if he was local or not, this was on the approach road, it was coming north while I was going south. Anyone know this car?

I'll post this in the Kansas 7s thread also.

More resurrection. Seems like most Wichta owners are either in hibernation or....not owners anymore, or stay off the Forum....?

I was beginning to think I was the only one left here. The 7's are in hibernation and one is waiting repairs.
