V8 RX vs. Rotary RX in Indy in 08?

I just wanted to see if the Rotary guys would like to meet at OReilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis on a Friday night for a friendly grudge match. The nights that are available are April 18th, May 9th, June 20th, July 18th, or August 8th. I see lots of RX's out there, and I am looking at a weekend to have a get together for V8 powered Rx's in Indianapolis. The Friday night Madness is a test and tune night, run for fun, $15 to race, $8 to watch, Burnout contest, stereo show, and car show. Any interest or do you guys already have one of those dates planned where we could all meet up.
This is a big night at the track, 500 cars, 100 bikes, and 5000 people. It is worth the drive.
It would be a blast. All of us love RX's we just have different ways to power them. Let me know what you think, or if we get a date together I will post. Thanks, Dave

I'm usually out at IRP for Midnight Madness, and a lot of tuesdays as well. I'd like to go up against the other RXs out there. However, you're going to need more than a post in the lounge to get this off the ground. I'd try the midwest section first and then local forums second.

Yeah, just kinda getting some feelers out, I thought you guys had a night out there already but ORP could not tell me when. I remember seeing about 10 RX's out there on one night?

Wow, lots of views and only one response. WTF? I am trying to figure out why there is not a rotary club in Central Indiana, I see lots of remnants of attempted start ups. My thread got moved here but I think that it is lost.
I have seen some fast rotaries around here, maybe this needs to be moved back to the lounge where it started.

Rotary Owns!

What type of events do they have for Saturdays?
Sundays are my only days off, so I could just stay the night and come home Sunday.
I'm always suffering on the Saturdays after Muncie.
2hr drive home, or longer depending on if I break anything. :D

I started www.indianarotaries.com earlier this year, but it had very little participation. I just don't think there are enough rotor heads around here to get anything off the ground.

I can help round up the local rotary guys, there really aren't that many that are into drag racing though.
