WI Labor Day cruise (SE WI)

Labor Day is just around the corner. September 4th, bring out your car and join us for the 4th annual Labor Day cruise from Whitnall Park to the Bong Recreation Area.

Meet up in Whitnall Park at noon, then head to Bong at 1pm for a cookout and car show. Every year rotary cars are well represented- bring yours! Bring some food to share.

Also this year, we are having a winner-take-all Hotwheels race. Only rule is that the car must be a standard Hotwheels/Matchbox/etc. vehicle and must be based on an actual car. You can enter as many as 5 entries, winner takes all.

Meet up is at the overlook parking lot, which is just north of the golf course on Whitnall Park Drive.

How was the turnout for this? Is there a good RX7 enthusiast base in Wisconsin? I have an FC and rarely see them around here.

Sigh!, Sold my ride a few years back. I grew up in those areas! East Troy Ring a bell? Two miles from Alpine Valley through the 1980's, so yeah, I have good taste in music! :-)

I've been thinking about building a new car, but finding one is very hard around these parts! It's getting very tough to find a "buildable chassis" these days!!!!
