to be honest with you, $3000 isn't gonna get you a standalone and a new engine. GTX here in the states???? I just did a s5 6 port turbo on my car and can tell you it was over $3000 when said and done.

i have the engine rebuit and ported already im just looking for the computer system i dont know where to start cuz im pretty sure a computer meant for a piston engine wont work for the rotary

rotorhead_izzy 07-11-10 01:08 AM

well in that case, it all depends on how much of that 3k you want to spend on a standalone. I just got a microtech lt-10s and love it. as for any other standalone i have no input on since i have never used anything else

drifter_sr 07-11-10 09:00 PM

i have the haltech e6k and i like it.. it is easy to install but then only thing is that some tuners dont tune haltech e6k.. like a-spec dont tune e6k.. but everyone else does.. it is easy to install.. ey izzy i got a tune date in august.. so let me know then when you are setting up a meet up... ill bring out my buddy and them.. they dont have an rx7 but the more the marrier..

rotorhead_izzy 07-11-10 11:59 PM

sounds good, still trying to gauge interest in the meet

yea i know what you mean. it was a pain in the ass to get the meet together last year. c'mon people anybody else want to meet up?

I guess you wouldn't need much more. a couple spools of wire maybe? you also might need to get a 30 amp relay for the fuel pump circuit. and some one to tune it obviously.
