****WTB: Straight Body Roller 1st Gen RX7, 2nd Gen RX7, Must have Title In Hand !****

My buddy Steven Burkett is looking for a clean/straight body 1st gen or 2nd gen RX7. Looking for a clean/straight car with interior. Blown motor or No motor okay.

Post here if you have something.

Thanks for posting this! I really need a first gen though, second gen means more work to convert the IRS to live axle and more weight. This isn't going to be a big bulldozer turbo project so I need to keep the weight down.

Got a nice prospect near KC, anyone got anything a little closer?

Steven

"clean" doesn't mean you hose it down once a month and keep rat poison in the interior.

Just because you knocked the mud off with a powerwasher doesn't make it clean.

I found one locally, thanks Midwest 7's, hope you find a buyer nearby. Very clean '82 GSL with 99K miles. Interior pretty good, just needs seats and door panels. Tornado Grey/black interior.

Pulled the stock (blown) engine and tranny today. The Renesis and RX-8 tranny will fit up with no chassis modifications, shifter fits nicely in stock location. The engine will be set back a bit from stock as the transmission is shorter, but it will be a piece of cake to make up some mounts and make this work.

Hopefully the turbo will show up Monday or Tuesday so I can get going on the manifolds.

I'm hoping to get time to have the engine/tranny physically mounted in time for the open house this weekend.
