Yet another my car won't start Thread.

Ok recently flagged my Wolf chip and went with Microtech. Had the full install done by RX7 heaven, tuning etc. Drove the 2h home(slowly still running in) no issues.
Went to start the day after, a little trouble starting. Next day started but only while I had my foot flat sat around 250RPM after a minute it had warmed enough to sit and idle nicely.
Installed one of those baffel silencer things in the end of the exhaust. Started and warmed for a while then started to sound like a tractor.
Ever since has been hard to start + still sounds a bit like a tractor and definately won't idle, afraid to even warm it up with it sounding like that.
Since having trouble have checked the leads and replaced the leading spark plugs only. Have looked into the program, loads up alright and can datalog stuff all I see looks to be good for a noob to microtech.

Specs:S6, Freshly rebuilt full bridgeport, single turbo, front mounted IC, 3" exhaust straight to straight through muff. All seals replaced on rebuild, 3mm apexes.

Any ideas greatly appreciated folks.

When you pulled the plugs, what did they look like?

Bridgeports require a LOT more fuel then most people assume. What are your idle pulsewidths and injector sizes?

Have your injectors been cleaned and tested after being stored for a long time?

Cherrs for your reply Aaron

Posted 2 photos of microtech screens.Spark plugs were still wet 24 hours later. Still working on getting the photos. Mild soot residue in keeping with me and my foot flat while stating, + plugs still wet on the ends!(which had worked previousley) and the trying to start rich smoke out the back. Just rechecked the spark plugs today they re all rythmically firing. The picture show the crank Ms for the injectors. Currently ultrasonically cleaning my spare primary injectors, will try them tomorrow.

A little bit got lost in the to Gif conversion. Untitled on reads 12.00 ms top right.

If you post a log that you record while its running it'll prolly help these guys out a little more.

OK, 12MS is way too much. Try 10 after deflooding. If that keeps flooding it, try 8. But I suspect 10 will work. 12MS is basically holding the injectors wide open.

Well cleaned and replaced the primary injectors... and it started.
Still have to fiddle the injector open times down for easier start up. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Aaron. Will post an update when I have had another go.

Nice! I have had so many project cars not start because of dirty injectors from sitting that I have lost count. :) As I tend to only really "rescue" other people's projects that have gone horribly wrong it is now standard practice for me to send all the injectors out for cleaning and testing before any other work...

I was quite surprised it worked. Now I will have to pull the secondaries and clean them. Picked up an ultrasonic bath from Jaycar $130 NZD.

For Matt. I rebuilt it myself so no warrantee unfortunately.
