Will not start... shit

I have checked everything. I know I have some vac leaks, but it should even try to catch? Rx72c, I have put in your map for 850/1600 injectors (thats what I have) I have spark to the leadings while cranking. Plugs are almost new. I know I have fuel my plugs are wet every time I take them out to unflood. I put 2 cycle oil inside the plug chambers. Gas is a little old, maybe 3 or 4 months sitting in the tank. I will drain and get new gas this week, maybe its that.

During test mode it says im at 680 rpms, and I don't think I am getting spark (no orange flashing light)

Dont know what else to do.

Ok so when your cranking?
your not getting a flashing orange light?

RexRyder 09-08-08 10:14 PM

Sorry for the confusion: I get orange light, and I do get spark at bpth leadings while cranking. I just dont get spark during test mode. I will add new gas, and adjust my fuel pressure to 40psi, and maybe tow start.

I also turned my crank pulley to line the yellow mark with the timing mark on front cover, stab the cas, and lock timing in the microtech. Still nothing.

What almost worked is put in test mode, let injectors click for a while, then put back in 4cyl mode, and start. she almost wants to catch (ALMOST!) If new gas doesn't work, I will buy all new injectors.

Also which way should I rotate my cas for an easier start, advance right? (clockwise?)

thanks for the help.

letting the injectors click for a while does nothing.
when you put it in test mode it kills the fuel pumps.

Ok.

So you get spark while cranking, and you get FLASHING orange light when cranking. thats good to hear.
Put some new spark plugs in it. and put some engine oil around 150-200ml per rotor. and try it again.

Is the engine new or no?

RexRyder 09-09-08 08:36 PM

The engine is new, maybe 10 miles on it. (I had it started before). Plugs are new still shiny/clean, and they do spark. Should I get hotter plugs? I have 4 bur9's. Also should I advance timing? Which way should I turn the cas? I have heard adding e-85 will help it start also. thanks

Probably has not got good compression yet.

Change the bottom plugs for bur7eq.

Set the timing to standard

Do you know how to correctly install the CAS?

Once you have done all of the above.
Add 150-200ml of engine oil to both rotors and it will start.
