wideband option?

Ok, after getting my ass kicked by the megasquirt for a while, Im back in the microtech world. I bought a used LTX12s with the wideband option. Does this mean it can control a wideband sensor directly I.E. i can go buy a bosch sensor and wire it in? Or does it just mean that it can handle the 0-5v output from a wideband controller?

If it can control the sensor directly, how do i wire it up?

thanks
Pat

old thread but good question that wasnt answered....

the answer is that it accepts a 0-5v wideband input, but does not actually control the wideband.

The Innovate LC1 is perfect, because it is little and accurate, and you can install it totally hidden, and it has programmable outputs, so it works great with the microtech. Best part is the LC1 is only like $190 bucks from DIYautotune.com. On a side note, I burnt up the first one I got, and Innovate sent me a new one in exchange within a week. Pretty good deal if you ask me.

can you send your mt to any dealers in the states to have it reprogrammed for wideband capability? I don't feel like sending it to australia and not having a car for a while.

LT 10s

Can the LT 10s be modified to use wideband input?
