Where did you get your switched 12 V?
I'm wiring the engine now for my LTX-8. Where did you get your +12V switched power for the injectors and coils? I'm thinking of taking power from either the main relay in the top left of the engine compartment or off the factory EGI fuse. I think the EGI is switched but haven't checked yet. Any other ideas? (87 Turbo)

I hooked up the on/off microtech ECU "pink" wire and my E-Fan from the black /white striped wire on the old stock coil- white plug _assuming your now using the Bosch coils
use a test light on the plug to see which one lights up when you turn the key since theres 2 that look similar........................................... .................................................. .... |
Well yea, I hadn't thought of that. I'll probably use it too but I was referring to the 12 volt power to the injrctors and coils. it's pretty high power so I'm going to have to come up with a high current source to power them.

Clubber, have you checked out www.slcrotary.com?

The best place to run anything in the car that is switch ing or accessory is under dash at ingnition harness (thick wires bundled under drivers side dash) use digi meter to test which is the right one. a test light should NOT be used on any car for anything.

Swooshman, No, I haven't used it much because my car doesn't run and I kinda didn't want to bug those guys with stuff. This forum is specifically for this type of info though. Anyway, I'm gonna check out how to pull power from the main underhood relay for the +12 V on the injectors and the coils then run the other side of this stuff to the microtech harness. Unless I hear a better idea or a good reason why not.
