Tuning for dummies (that's me)
 

Guys, I've got a wideband O2 sensor and the car ('87 Turbo) has it's early problems fixed. I've been trying to get it tuned and I've read some of the posts here to help me understand. Anyway, I'm tuning in matrix mode and from what I can tell, noone else is. Is this true? In looking at the sticky thread, everyone has the "basic" non matrix values listed. Is it better to tune this way than matrix? I tried to get a dyno tune but it ended up being a guy who was " a microtech expert". He didn't know about injector staging and all in all it went really bad and really expensive. Since I'm in Utah (read that as the middle of nowhere) I can't just go around the corner and get tuning. I went to SS8 in Oct and that's where it got tuned at. I can't really go around the country with a car running like a POS until I find someone who can make the microtech work so I'm going to do it myself (if possible). Any help will be appreciated and if someone wants to do a little "as you go" help, I can sure use it.
