tach source needed to start car?
I know with the Haltech it needs a rpm signal to fire
I noticed the blue/white wire off my LTX8 ecu is not connected hence no cracking rpms showing on the handset and the car will not start I got bosch coils hook it up to one of the trailings? but the question for future refrence does the MT need a RPm signal to run? |
The blue/white is a tach output only so it is hooked up to your tachometer. You should always get a rpm reading, but since you are not then my guess it that the CAS wires are hooked up wrong. You using a Turbo II CAS or the third gen magnets?

stevenoz is correct, the CAS is your tach input(multiple pulses per revolution) to the ECU and the other wire is the output to your guage(one pulse per revolution).
