Stock Coils on a LTX-8???????

Silly Question, Can I use the stock FC Coils with the LTX-8?

No, the X ECU's are configured for the Bosch coils.

I was hoping it was an either/or set-up/ :(

you can actually,

you will need to remove the igniter from the stock coil and wire it straight to the microtech,

So the coil gets wired straight to the Microtech, like the bosch?

you need to remove all the igniter off the s4 coil, it becomes a nice small coil when you do this, if you dont remove the igniter you will blow something up,

if in doubt buy the bosch coils

Please excuse my ignorance, I did not know that was possible.....thanks Dale.

Saves me some bucks for initial install, :)

Keep in mind that the LTX is set up to fire four coils, not three like stock. You'll need to use four stock trailing coils, after modification. It's possible, but not for the faint-hearted.
